Every human being ever born on earth were born intelligent, they all capable of understanding and separating right from wrong. No human can do anything against their own moral value system. All the acts done by any person are somehow justified by him with his moral values.
There can be various reasons, various circumstances. But no matter what his action was, that was the best action he could take under those circumstances, with his knowledge and his moral values. We all human beings are unique we all have unique moral value systems, how can anyone expect all of us to live by one common set of rules?
Do you think they would have done differently if they had the same value system under the same circumstances?
When someone punishing you or setting a set of rules for you to live by how applicable that can be? Do you think they can understand your moral value system better than you?
Most of all
Who gave them right to advise you. What’s right? And What’s wrong?
Before someone judge another person, he should at least try to understand why this person did what he did, how did he justify that act with his values. Without that there is no justifiable way to someone to make a judgement on another person.
Scenario 01
A robber killed a house owner who was the father of three because the house owner caught him while robbing the house. He was confronted to the court then the judge punished him with the death penalty and executor executed him few months after.
How most of us see it
The robber is a criminal (unaccepted by the society) house owner caught him while he was doing a crime and robber committed another crime by killing the innocent house owner. He deserves the death sentence. Judge has done an excellent work by giving that murderer a death sentence and it was an executioner’s job to obey the order that comes from a judge.
Do you think this is the right procedure? Do you think justice has been served?
Most of the people would say yes.
But is it?
The robber is a person who has his own moral values. According to them stealing from someone for his needs is justifiable. While he was robbing the house owner interrupted him he knows if this person handed him over to the police he has to go to prison for robbing that person’s house which is justifiable according to robbers moral values. So he decided to end that person’s life is better than going to jail for something he doesn't think that is wrong.
According to his moral values judge believes that killing a man should punishable by law and in this case it should be a death sentence. When he was sentenced robber to death he justified ordering to killing that man with his values saying it’s OK to kill a man that had committed a crime that can punishable by the death sentence.
The executioner believes according to his moral values killing a man for court sentence is justifiable. So he hangs the robber. He is justifying that murder by believing in it was coming from a higher position and was his job.
The bottom line is all three people have done the same thing but justified it by three different ways. The law tells us two of those actions are justifiable and other one can’t. But we are forgetting that all these people somehow able to justify their actions with their moral values. They are punishing someone who took the best decision at that point according to his value system. In other words the robber did the best he could and they are punishing him for that. They are punishing him because he didn't handle the situation the way they wanted him to handle.
Scenario 02
A guy got caught by the police for possessing marijuana than he was confronted to the court and then he was fined for 1,500 Rs.
How most of us see it.
Marijuana is bad for health and it also unaccepted by most of the religions. The law has banned it to protect us. That person deserved to be fined because he was destroying himself and could have become a problem to the society.
Is it?
The law has prohibited growing, transporting, merchandising or consuming marijuana. All the reasons they are providing for not legalizing marijuana are outdated by decades. In new finding marijuana has been proven that they have effects on cancer cells, can repair brain cells, it’s an antidepressant, it's use as a meditation technique and lots more. It has over 45 different usages.
The only proven side effect it has is it can increase the percentage of schizophrenia of the persons who already have the risk to get the disease which is 5% of the total population by 5%. In other words it can increase the schizophrenia percentage by 0.25%. Its lethal dosage is over 60 kilograms. In other words, it’s simply impossible for someone to overdose on marijuana.
But legalized drugs like alcohol and tobacco are responsible for thousands of deaths annually. They are hardly helping someone get along with their life. But still they are legal and marijuana is illegal.
Do you think its wrong someone to use herb like marijuana to improve himself?
Most of the people believe LAW is there to protect people but when you look at it closely and carefully you can see laws are not there to protect you laws are there to control you laws are there to charge you and force you to live the life they want you to live.
Unfortunately we are so used to this and we unable to realize on the way somehow we have lost our dream and we have adopted their dream as our own. Now we are helping them to live their dream by controlling others behalf of them, keeping others at bay and on the line.
